Part 2: Healing Trauma - Unleashing the Power of the Nervous System with Sarah Rollins

SHOW NOTES: Episode 34

Hello beautiful souls! Thank you for joining me for another episode today as I share part 2 of Sarah Rollin’s episode. If you haven’t listened to part 1, be sure to check that out before diving into today’s episode.

In today’s episode, Sarah and I discuss more about the healing journey after pregnancy loss. We emphasize the importance of finding the right support, creating a safe and comfortable environment, and listening to your body.

The challenge lies in finding the right person to support you. Not all therapists or practitioners may be a good fit, and experience and qualifications do not guarantee that they are the right fit for you. Sarah shares more about trying out free consultations to get a sense of whether a therapist or practitioner is a good match. It's crucial to feel safe and comfortable with the person providing support.

We also dive into the role of somatic work in trauma healing. We talked about the small but powerful act of making yourself just 1% more comfortable in each moment and how our bodies have an innate capacity to heal.

We want to encourage you to reach out and find help if you are needing it and how important that is.

I want to thank Sarah for sharing her knowledge and insights, and I'm grateful for the valuable conversation we had.
