I Was Triggered By the Word "Heartbeat"

SHOW NOTES: Episode 25

Today, I want to dive into a topic that holds a profound significance in my life - the word "heartbeat." This simple word, has been a cornerstone in my life, shaping my experiences and emotions in ways I could never have imagined.

Growing up, one of my most cherished memories was lying on my father's chest, listening to his heartbeat. It was a sound that brought me reassurance and a sense of safety.

However, life has a way of turning things around. The heartbeat, which was once a source of solace, became a symbol of pain and loss. The passing of my father and my miscarriage were two instances where the absence of a heartbeat brought immense pain. The word "heartbeat" was no longer a comforting sound but a painful reminder of my losses.

I found myself at a crossroads. I could either let the word "heartbeat" continue to be a source of pain, or I could change its energy and associations. I decided to shift the energy associated with the word "heartbeat." I purchased a stethoscope and signed up for meditations that focused on listening to my own heartbeat. My aim was to create a new, positive association with the word.

I share this personal journey with you to encourage you to think outside the box. We all have words or places that hold heavy emotions or triggers. By finding ways to shift the energy and associations of these words or places, we can create a brighter world for ourselves. Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and it's important to be open to trying different approaches.

I hope my words have been helpful. I invite you to reflect on your own associations and consider how you might shift the energy around them. If my story resonates with you, I encourage you to leave a review. Together, we can navigate the complexities of life, transforming our pain into power, and our losses into lessons.
