Todays Episode:

What if healing after pregnancy loss isn't only about letting go, but also about finding a new kind of connection?

In this episode, I sit down with Anne-Claire, a spirit baby medium, trained midwife, and naturopath who guides women through the emotional, spiritual, and energetic sides of fertility and pregnancy loss. After losing her own baby at 11 weeks, Anne-Claire began offering spirit baby sessions to help women reconnect with their babies, release guilt, and find peace.

We talk about the loneliness of loss, the lack of information and support women are sent home with, and why so many of us feel disconnected from our babies afterwards. Anne-Claire shares her own healing journey, including the moment she realised she had "pushed everything down," and the daily practice that helped her find peace. We also talk about what women often experience in her sessions: less big emotional release, more relief, calm, and a sense of finally being able to breathe.

Whether or not spirit baby work is for you, this conversation is a reminder that you deserve support, and that there's no right timeline for grief.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Anne-Claire's story of losing her first baby at 11 weeks, and the vivid dreams that shaped her path
  • How spirit baby work supports women who are grieving, trying to conceive, or facing decisions after a loss
  • Why so many women feel disconnected from their baby after loss, and how that connection may be reopened
  • Working through guilt and the "why" questions: Did I do something wrong? What if I had kept going?
  • The lack of information and support after miscarriage, and how isolating that can be
  • Why check-ins at one month, six months, and the first birthday matter so much
  • Anne-Claire's daily healing practice, and why she waited until the end to write her goodbye letter
  • Why "getting through it" isn't the same as healing, and what happens when we push grief down
  • What a session can feel like: relief, calm, clarity, and a nervous system that finally settles
  • Gentle ways to begin if you're not ready for a live session

Key takeaways

  • There is no timeline for grief, and you don't need to have "done the thing" to be allowed to keep healing.
  • Support doesn't have to be spiritual to matter. A massage, a check-in, or someone who listens can make a difference.
  • If a connection practice or meditation doesn't work straight away, you're not doing it wrong. Your body may still be protecting you.
  • If someone in your life has experienced loss, check in again later. The isolation often returns when everyone else moves on.
