EP147: Knowing isn’t enough: How we actually change reproductive loss care - With Sharna Southan
Ready to Go Deeper? Welcome to the Reproductive Loss Leaders Room
There’s only so much we can explore in a podcast episode.
You can hear a new perspective, discover something you weren’t taught, or finally find language for something you’ve been noticing in your work.
But then what?
What do you do with what you now know?
How does it apply to your work?
What sits within your scope?
What questions has the learning created?
And where do you go when you want to continue the conversation rather than simply move on to the next episode, training or piece of information?
That’s why I created the Reproductive Loss Leaders Room.
The Leaders Room is a professional membership for existing and aspiring practitioners supporting women across fertility, pregnancy, birth, grief, trauma, mental health, postpartum, nutrition, reproductive health and beyond.
You do not need to identify as a pregnancy loss specialist to belong here.
And you certainly don't need to become an expert in every aspect of reproductive loss care.
The intention is different:
Understand more of the whole.
Know where you fit within it.
Deepen the piece you choose to hold.
Inside the Leaders Room, we move beyond simply acquiring more information.
You’ll have access to The Gap Series, where we reveal areas of reproductive loss care that may have been overlooked or absent from our professional training.
You’ll receive live mentorship and integration support from me, so you can explore what the learning means for the work you do.
You’ll learn from guest experts and specialist practitioners bringing different disciplines and perspectives into the room.
You’ll have access to a growing library of trainings and professional resources.
And you’ll be part of a community having deeper, multidisciplinary conversations about how we collectively advance reproductive loss care.
Because I believe professional learning needs to go beyond education alone.
Acquire the knowledge.
Retain it through mentorship, discussion and continued exploration.
Transfer it into your work.
That’s where knowledge starts becoming practice.
And that’s where change can begin.
This isn't another space where pregnancy loss is one topic amongst many.
In this room, reproductive loss IS the conversation. 🤍
If you've been listening to What I Wish I Knew: Beyond Pregnancy Loss and wishing you had somewhere to continue these conversations professionally, I created the Leaders Room for exactly that.
Different disciplines. Different expertise. One woman moving between them.
